Denis Chapman’s unique style and enthusiasm are his trademark, and his purpose is simple, to convey God’s message of love and minister to all. “I want people to be glad they shared their time with me and feel better when they leave knowing God loves them,” Chapman states.

For more than 60 years, Chapman has traveled internationally and presented programs for audiences of 50 to 5,000. He is as exciting in front of a small church congregation as he is on a civic center stage, with a warmth, sincerity and excitement that is felt from the first note.

In the theatre, they refer to it as a one-man show. In the music world, the term is solo act. With Denis Chapman, it is a dynamic ministry.

Class & Style

Known for his outstanding vocal range and interpretative ability, Denis Chapman has traveled on the road singing Gospel and Country music most of his life. He brings much experience to his presentation and has been permitted to minister in camp meetings, revivals, city-wide crusades, television ministries, Sunday church services, large concerts and many other venues.

During the past 60 years Chapman has earned honors and attained many goals. Among his most cherished honors is his appointment in 1982 as Ambassador of Music by his home state and his 1993 Distinguished West Virginian award, his state’s highest honor.

Through the years, Chapman has shared the stage with many famous entertainers from both the Country and Pop music fields as well as most of the popular gospel artists. Chapman has also performed for and has been recognized by heads of state. He has recorded more than 30 albums and several nationally charted songs, the first in 1968 with his group The Mani String Singers.

Chapman also charted several songs with The Gospel Harmony Boys, the group he performed with from 1981-99.
